A little poem...
The eldest came home with this little diddy. I wish I had a scanner so that you could see his accompanying artwork.
Summer
Summer is a wonderful time
We run, jump and climb
I like to swim in the pool
I think its really really cool
I like to go to the zoo
I like it when the dairy cows moo
Summer is the best time of the year
Except for deer
(we had talked a few days ago about hunting season)

I bet a small hand held air horn could save those deer. I wonder if anyone know where to get those?

Funny, we actually have one that a very thoughtful and concerned friend sent to ruler of the roost so that he could "summon" me whenever he chose.
I've yet to appropriately "thank" that generous and thoughtful individual.
