Great quote. Where is that study published? I'd like to read it.
I checked out your profile. I've read most of your favorite books in the last six months! I just finished Night. Very powerful; very sad. It seems almost not real - you want it to be not real - but I know that it is. Oddly, the scene that hit me the most was the people throwing bread at the cattle cars, and watching the starving men fight over the crusts. It disturbed me very deeply.
I did read that article Michelle. It was good. It reminds me of some of the stuff written after Betty Freidan died. I don't really know her work, but she was able to look at her ideas on women/career/family over the years and adjust and evaluate. She could look back and say, "Oh, we underestimated how women feel about staying home with their kids." She could change with the times.
